This sweet guy is ready to find his forever home. We found him starving and beat up in the woods a little over a month ago weighing only 37 lbs. He has been wormed and vaccinated. With some TLC he is making a great recovery. He was likely raised in an outdoor kennel and was not taught basic pet dog training. He needs to learn sit, lay down, etc. He is very affectionate, crate trained and housebroken. He rarely barks and doesn't jump up on people. He has done well with all 5 of my dogs ranging from a toy poodle to a great dane and various sizes in between. DOES NOT NEED TO BE AROUND ANY OTHER SMALLER PETS!!! He was clearly raised and trained as a hunting dog and his behavior towards animals other than dogs reflects that. He is in no way vicious but his instinct and training could be dangerous for smaller pets. He is very loving and is a great companion! (Small rehoming fee applies just to cover some of the vet expenses incurred during his recovery)
