Hey there! We're a women-fronted indie rock band seeking a bassist & lead guitarist. To preface, we are looking for STEADY BAND MEMBERS, we are NOT LOOKING FOR SESSION PLAYERS. We're seeking individuals who are wanting to actively engage, collaborate and bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the music. We already have a large existing body of work that we've been playing out in venues across the city and are constantly working on new material. Our sound is influenced by 90s alt (think: Fiona Apple, PJ Harvey, Portishead...) and modern indie music with shoegaze inspired undertones. We're in our early-mid 20s and looking for people in & around the same age (but of course flexible on this depending if the synergy is right!) We practice at least once a week after 5p or on the weekends and play gigs once–twice a month. We are happy to provide demos/more info upon request. Please do not reach out if you are just wanting to make a buck playing gigs – we are looking to foster community & joy around music-making and are looking for individuals who would like to see the music succeed.
