James Francis - Sense of Place: A Penobscot Man's Ancestral Journey James Francis, Penobscot Nation’s Tribal Historian, takes you on a semi-autobiographical journey as he attempts to uncover his sense of place as an indigenous person in Maine. Using cultural understanding and place nomenclature, James weaves a narrative through his Penobscot ancestral homeland. For the health and safety of all, and per the Town of Freeport mandate, we are requiring event attendees to wear masks regardless of vaccination status. Masks and hand sanitizing stations will be available. Please practice social distancing by keeping six feet apart.
