Description
My breeding pair of golden mystery snails have outgrown my aquarium and need a good new home.
The stress of the small space and breeding (their choice not mine) has caused their shells to break-down some so I also included a pic of how they used to look and how they can be again with the right care.
I've had them for about a year and they are quite the characters. Felix (cover and left of pic 3), named for Felix Baumgartner, likes to go to high spots in the aquarium and free-fall. Whiplash (hiding and right of pic 3) is a total speed-demon. They are each about the size of a tea candle.
I haven't been able to tell which is the female but she lays eggs prolifically. If you want babies, let them hatch. If you don't they are easy to dispose of. Over the year I've had them, only one clutch has hatched and that was when they snuck it past me over a vacay.
If interested in adopting them, please let me know why your aquarium would be the best new home for them.
