As a part of the Adirondack Death Care Communities Winter Series, this Diversity in Death event will seek to expand our death perspectives
Winter Series-Reimagining our relationships with grief, death and loss.
Join the Adirondack Death Care Community in reimagining our relationships with grief, death and loss.
This winter series can provide a companion throughout the long, dark and cold winter months. The colder times of the year provide us with a healthy balance, giving us the space to turn a bit more inward. Just like as the earth sleeps and the trees stand dormant, we too slow our pace and can restore and regenerate from within and from within the community.
Part of what we hope you experience through this series are insightful practices and perspectives that are shared through stories and questions in relation to grief, death and loss and the freedom and excitement that can come with evaluating and reimagining a more healing and life sustaining relationship with these unavoidable aspects.
What this event will highlight is the Diversity found in Death. This will entail an evening of stories, questions and insights as speakers from our communities share about their cultural, spiritual, and/or religious practices and perspectives in relation to grief, death and loss.
More on speakers to come!
