TRUSSVILLE, AL — The battle between cross-town rivals Pinson Valley and Clay-Chalkville last Friday resulted in some changes in the Alabama Sports Writers Association 6A poll this week, as Pinson Valley's win propelled the Indians to no. 3 in the latest poll. Pinson Valley's 27-10 victory not only moved the team up in the polls but also secured a regional championship for coach Sam Shade's Indians.
