What started as a party amongst friends in a basement, has now grown to a BASH with LOTS OF BACON… and we’re here for it! On Saturday, March 5th, Earlham’s Bacon Bash is BACK... and it will be better than ever! Buy a ticket, bring a bacon dish (one per household)… and leave the rest to the Bacon Bash Committee and Bricker-Price Block! {Because folks around here know how to celebrate bacon too!} A ticket to Earlham's Bacon Bash includes admission and one drink on us! Awards will be given for the best bacon dishes in multiple categories, and we will also have bacon cooking demonstrations featured in our Prairie Meadows Culinary Kitchen throughout the evening. Tickets are $20 before... or $25 at the door. Proceeds from this event will benefit programming at Bricker-Price Block. Restored inside and out, our historic event venue Bricker-Price Block serves as the cornerstone for renewed community life in Earlham and Madison County, extending a friendly welcome to guests from Central Iowa and beyond. On the ground floor is one of the area’s newest destination dining spot, Beans & Beignets with the mission to create joy and friendships over good food, coffee and ice cream. Upstairs, the Hadley Family Social Club, with its classic arched windows, tall tin ceilings and refinished wood floors, is a beautiful setting for birthday parties, weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, wedding or bridal showers, fundraisers, corporate meetings and any other special life events. Our community event venue is also host to unique events like our annual Harvest Gathering Farm-to-Table Dinner and our Family-Friendly & Late Night Trivia Events. The proceeds from these events go right back to providing affordable programming for our youth during our Kid’s Club Summer Camps and for our local senior citizens through our Senior Speaker Series.
