Come help construct the first Community Playbox! Yosimar Alvarez, a local artist and budding entrepreneur, first conceptualized the Community Playbox during his fellowship at Mixxer Community Makerspace. Some of his favorite memories growing up in the Boston Thurmond neighborhood revolve around playing outside with his friends. The Playbox will allow kids in the same neighborhood, and eventually the greater Winston-Salem area, to enjoy the same experience by providing them with sports equipment and other outdoor toys. The first Playbox, which will be constructed at the event, will be housed at Kimberly Park Elementary School . This will allow us to set up a system for students to check items in and out of the Paybox and provide some accountability. Come help us build the first one! Email: 0 Website: http://0
