Best Practices in Quality Legal Representation in Child Welfare Cases - Muenster University Center, University of South Dakota, Vermillion In an effort to advance the highest quality legal representation in child abuse and neglect proceedings, this presentation will take you through the child welfare system and court process. High quality legal representation is essential to help children and their families navigate the complex processes, advance their legal rights, ensure their voice is heard, and advocate for the services children and families need to thrive and have a positive outcome.  Lunch will be served, starting at 11:30 a.m., with the workshop beginning at 12:00 p.m. Introductions and Opening Remarks from Chief Justice Steven Jensen and Justice Scott P.
