Greenpeace Savannah, a Greenpeace USA action pod, is looking for volunteers to help setup our booth and run it for the Savannah Veg Fest. Greenpeace Savannah, a Greenpeace USA action pod, is focused on improving the environment and sustainability of the greater Savannah area. As part of this, we realize that a plant-based diet is one of the key factors in reducing carbon and deforestation. We also realize that this has side effects as well that benefit both animal and human welfare in that a plant-based diet is generally healthier for humans and helps curb the unnecessary slaughter of animals.
