This event is hosted by The Maternal Wellness Hikers. Join Maternal Wellness Hikers this Sunday February 6, 2022 and explore Cascade Springs Nature Preserve along with Guest Hiking Presenters: Corrinna Edwards , CPM of Mandala Midwifery Minister & Clinical Director Sekesa Berry, Community Midwife of Loven' Touch Midwifery and Executive Director of Atlanta Doula Collective Hanifa Shoatz-Bey, Midwife Advocate of Midwives, Director of Apothecary Garden and West Atlanta Watershed Alliance! We will meet at 9:00 am for registration, temp checks and Intros. We will trek off at 9:30 am. Dress warmly and don't forget your mask! 😷 During our Talkn' TrailMix Water Break (no pun intended - for real) we will discuss "My Maternal Self Care!". They will discuss three Maternal Health disparities which can be avoided with Awareness, Monitoring and Self Care throughout your pregnancy's, birth and postpartum. We are here to Be the Change for our Maternal Wellness and Change Georgia's Maternal Wellness Stats!!! Blood Pressure Cuffs and Dopplers will be given to the first Ten Expecting Mothers who pre-register here on Eventbrite. When registering, it is important to let us know that you are expecting and when you expect your baby's arrival! Feel free to invite your family and support team! See you then!!!
