Press release from King Philip Schools: November 17, 2020 Superintendent Paul Zinni reports that a student at King Philip Regional High School has tested positive for COVID-19. The district was informed earlier today of the positive COVID-19 case within the district. The student has been out of the building since Thursday, Nov. 12 and will continue to quarantine until cleared by the Wrentham Board of Health. Under state and federal privacy laws, no further information is available about this individual. Those who have been identified as close contacts are being instructed to quarantine. If you have not received a call from the school department, this means you have not been identified as a close contact and you are not required to quarantine. Norfolk's Town Meeting remains scheduled to take place at King Philip's field house tonight. All staff, students and community members should be confident in entering the school's facilities. In accordance with the district's reopening plan, all schools are thoroughly cleaned each day and high-touch areas are disinfected multiple times throughout the day.
