Description

Hi I’m newish to Atlanta (moved here a year ago w/ my partner from SEA) I’m looking to have some moving conversation and genuine connection with other folks making music, and hopefully create some things together? Who I am: I’m a playwright, poet, singer, rapper, medical 420 enthusiast and educator. I used to play alto sax, but haven’t for some time. Recently started learning piano and a tiny bit of producing in Ableton 11. I have many interests, and carry a lot of experience as a Black Trans person writing about my life and the world around me. Styles of music/creating I like and am interested in working on: soul, hip-hop, r&b, alternative, storytelling, jazz, doing improv, play workshopping, writing sessions, jam sessions. Who you might be: someone who is truly interested in forming genuine connections around shared identity and experimenting with sound and music styles. Someone looking to learn with other artists and be open to forming a possible small BIPOC queer artist collective of 5 or 6 ppl. The space that I’d like to share with artists would be inviting, safe, and respectful to folks of all bodies, abilities both physically and creatively. If this sounds like something you’re into, send me a message with: 1. your IG/Twitter info 2. a little about yourself & why you’re interested 3. Describe your ideal jam /creative session.
