Wine Tasting, Charcuterie & Entertainment
Our wine tasting evening features three wines from Sanglier Cellars. In 2001, Glenn and Melissa Alexander purchased a small farmhouse and an old vine zinfandel vineyard in the Russian River Valley of Northern California. In 2006 they founded Sanglier Cellars; 100 cases were produced from a Syrah vineyard located on a sandstone ridge, and in 2007 Sanglier produced its first wine. Since that time the family has added pinot noir and chardonnay from Russian River Valley and the Sonoma Coast. The great wines and vineyards of France have remained the inspiration for Sanglier’s wines. Wine tastings will be paired with fresh charcuterie boards. Learn more about these and other wines from our wine distributor, Quinn DiBacco of DiBacco Wine Imports.
1. Sanglier Sauvignon Blanc
a. Floral aromas with ripe mango, lime and grapefruit with background hints of jalepeno. Unabashed crisp acidity provides a mouthwatering opening. The mid palate is complex and textured with a clean bright green apple finish.
2. Sanglier Cellars, Pinot Noir Tusque (2019)
a. Aromas of cherry and a hint of spice. Boysenberry, pomegranate, and blackberry. The acidity keeps it nervy. The wine’s steeped flavors are held up by supporting tannins and an unusually round lengthy finish.
3. Sanglier Cellars, Cabernet Sauvignon Right Tusque Mendocino County (2018)
