MILWAUKEE, WI — A 34-year-old Milwaukee man connected to a quintuple shooting at a Milwaukee high school turned himself in to police on Friday, the Milwaukee Police Department said in a statement.
The man, who is unnamed, was connected to five women and girls being shot and injured near Rufus King High School on Tuesday. The victims were aged 15, 15, 16, 17 and 20.
The man will be charged by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office in coming days, police said.
All of the victims are expected to survive, police said. The shooting broke out after a fight outside of a high school girls basketball game, Milwaukee Police Chief Jeffrey Norman said.
The shootings happened on the 4100 block of N. 19th Street on Milwaukee's northwest side, police said.
