PEABODY, MA — These Peabody students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinction at colleges and universities across the nation. Janine E Goggin, a senior majoring in biology/psychology, was named a Presidential Scholar for the fall 2021 semester at Clarkson University. Presidential Scholars must achieve a minimum 3.80 grade-point average and carry at least 14 credit hours. Christopher Aylward achieved Dean's List honors Vermont Tech's Associate of Applied Science of Diesel Power Technology program. To qualify for this academic honor, students must be enrolled in at least 12 or more letter-graded credit hours and achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the semester. Courtney A. Kline of Peabody was named to The University of Scranton's Dean's List for the 2021 fall semester. The Dean's List recognizes students for academic excellence. A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the semester to make the Dean's List. The list includes students from the Jesuit university's College of Arts and Sciences, Kania School of Management and Panuska College of Professional Studies. Kline is a junior criminal justice major in the university's College of Arts and Sciences. Jenna Durkin was named to St. Lawrence University's Dean's List for achieving academic excellence during the Fall 2021 semester. Durkin is a member of the Class of 2025. Durkin attended Bishop Fenwick High School. Paul Ruotolo earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland Global Campus. More than 8,000 students from all 50 states, four U.S. territories, and 26 countries earned UMGC degrees worldwide in fall 2021. Lea Bettencourt, Joshua Cerretani, Bailey Peicott, Chiara Salzillo and Rocco Schirripa earned a place on the Dean's List for the Fall 2021 semester. These students have demonstrated a serious commitment to their studies while at Dean College. The following students are among those named to Emerson College's Dean's List for the fall 2021 semester. The requirement to make Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester. Caroline Elliott, Business Creative Enterprises, Class of 2022. Oliver Garvey, Media Arts Production, Class of 2025. Aaron Homem, Media Studies, Class of 2023. Isabella Zermani was named to The University of Alabama Presidents List for fall semester 2021. Andrew Vo was named to the Fall 2021 Dean's List at Roger Williams University, in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester. Lasell University students shared original research and projects, and engaged with core competencies identified by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) at the annual Career Readiness Symposium. Brad Parsons represented Lasell's student-run radio station, WLAS, which plays programming at 102.9FM and streams on iHeart Radio. The project incorporated the NACE competencies of professionalism, leadership, equity & inclusion, and career & self-development. Parsons is the engineer for WLAS. Meaghan Csongor shared a presentation on their experience as a member of DECA, a professional organization that aims to prepare students in the fashion and business fields to be community-oriented, professionally responsible, and experienced leaders. The presentation incorporated the NACE competencies of professionalism, leadership, and career and self-development. Csongor is the vice president of fundraising and events for Lasell's DECA chapter. Brianna Ricker presented a senior graphic design portfolio. The presentation incorporated the NACE competencies of professionalism and career and self-development. Ricker also presented original clay figure sculptures as part of a class exhibit "This is Me: Self Reflections in Clay." Pat Carbone shared work from the fall semester on behalf of the 1851 Chronicle, Lasell's student-run newspaper. The presentation incorporated the NACE competencies of professionalism, leadership, and career & self-development. Nico Manganiello shared work from the fall semester on behalf of the 1851 Chronicle, Lasell's student-run newspaper. The presentation incorporated the NACE competencies of professionalism, leadership, and career & self-development. Jaqueline Cordeiro presented the latest edition of Polished, Lasell's student-run fashion magazine. The presentation incorporated the NACE competencies of professionalism, leadership, equity & inclusion, and career & self-development. Cordeiro is one of the magazine's media directors. Luiz Silva, Ryan Mangino, Joshu DiNapoli, Sherly Bourdeau, Colleen Moran and Amanda Dubois were named to the Southern New Hampshire Dean's List. Christine Deschenes and Andrew Fisher graduated from the University of New Hampshire in December 2021. Assumption University has announced students who have been named to the Dean's List for the fall 2021 semester: Courtney Ball, Class of 2022 Alexander Franklin, Class of 2025 Isabella Ricciardi, Class of 2022 Claudio Rocha, Class of 2023 Nearly 1,000 students were named to the President's List at Coastal Carolina University for the Fall 2021 semester, including Mikayla Buckley, a psychology major. Jacob Casallas was named to the Elmira College Dean's List for the fall 2021 term. Full-time undergraduate students registered for at least 12 computable credit hours and earning a term grade point average of 3.6 or higher are placed on the Dean's List at the college.
