MINEOLA, NY — Mineola Middle School recently held its annual Valentine for Veterans project to celebrate and support those who served our country. Fifth, sixth, and seventh graders volunteered to create unique valentines to share with veterans. The students and staff also showed their support through donations of new items such as sweatshirts, winter accessories, socks, toothbrushes, and toiletries.
