Here are the top three stories in Spokane today: You can catch Sam Hunt playing at the Northern Quest Resort and Casino this September. The country musician is scheduled to perform in Spokane on Saturday, Sept. 17. Tickets will range between $79-$149 and pre-sale tickets go on sale on Feb. 9 and 10. (KXLY Spokane) 33 tons of trash were hauled away from a nuisance home that caused many problems for neighbors in northeast Spokane. There was a lot of effort by police to try and work with the homeowner, including infractions, financial incentives, warnings, and mental health and drug counselors sent to the property, however, none of this worked. Now, the city is trying to find a new owner to rehabilitate the property by working with the homeowner and a bank to do so. (KXLY Spokane)Some pharmacies in Spokane are offering free, non-surgical N95 masks. The pharmacies have begun receiving the masks from the federal government and are distributing them to the public as part of a federal effort to limit the spread of COVID-19 amid a surge of the highly transmissible omicron variant. Some locations offering three free masks on first come, first serve basis include Albertsons Inc., Safeway, Rite Aid, and Walmart.
