ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY — The Molloy College Special Collections is working to create a living history of how Long Island is dealing with the coronavirus pandemic, and it is asking residents to submit pieces for the collection. The collection is looking for all kinds of documentation it can archive to provide a record of this time in history. People can submit diary entries, reflections, photographs, videos, voice memos, audio recordings and other digital pieces about life during the coronavirus pandemic. Physical works, such as handwritten journals, can also be sent in. Examples of pieces include experiences about working from home, the shift to online learning, self-quarantining, social distancing, coping with the virus and more. You can submit pieces for the collection by clicking here and filling out the form. People can submit either anonymously or have their names attached to the pieces. The archive will be made public in the future, once materials are collected and sorted.
