Description
EAST HARLEM, NY — A man was shot in the chest Thursday afternoon outside an East Harlem fast-food restaurant, according to multiple reports.
It happened around 5:20 p.m., near the White Castle on East 103rd Street and First Avenue. The victim, a 34-year-old man, was shot two times in the chest, ABC reported.
He was rushed to Metropolitan Hospital, and was expected to survive, AMNY reported. There were no reported arrests.
It came two days after a pair of daylight shootings that rattled Harlem, and claimed two lives: a morning shooting near the NYCHA Washington Houses that killed 26-year-old Davantay Butts, and another hours later on a busy block of 125th Street that killed an unidentified 23-year-old man.
