WRENTHAM, MA — Brian Hamlin came out on top in the Democratic primary to challenge Republican state Rep. Shawn Dooley on Nov. 3. Hamlin, a Plainville cabinetmaker, bested Hunter Cohen in the 9th Norfolk District race. With 100 percent reporting, Hamlin won 4,677 votes, or 59 percent. >>Brian Hamlin: MA 2020 Primary Candidate Profile The District has been represented by Republican Shawn Dooley for the past six years.
