CLAY, AL — A man has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of his stepfather in Clay Tuesday. The incident occurred in the 7500 block of Weems Road. Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said 56-year-old Paul Edward Trull Jr. was shot and killed after a confrontation with his stepson, Jacob Naquade Chambers. Chambers remained on the scene of the shooting when deputies arrived. Chambers was taken into custody and has been charged with murder.
