Update, 10 a.m. GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich Avenue reopened early Friday morning after a portion of the .6 mile stretch was closed due to an underground fire and high carbon monoxide levels, according to the Greenwich Fire Department. The account tweeted shortly after 11 p.m. that the Avenue is closed between Elm Street and Havemeyer Place.
