BROOKLINE, MA — A single-vehicle crash took down wires in Brookline Friday morning, said the Brookline Police Department. The crash took place just before 7 a.m., said police. Route 9 inbound between Cypress and Washington Streets is temporarily shut down and outbound is restricted to one lane. Drivers are asked to seek alternate routes until further notice. This is just one of a number of crashes that are slowing down roads in Greater Boston Friday morning due to icy conditions.
