Update: Sterling Man Charged With Robbery Of 7-Eleven: Police

Updated at 11:45 a.m. on Friday LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — A man from Sterling was arrested on Friday in connection with the robbery of a Sterling 7-Eleven, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office. The man, Michael Hollatz, was taken into custody at his home. The suspect walked into the 7-Eleven in the 46600 block of Algonkian Parkway around 2:40 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 3, police claimed. He then demanded money from the register, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said in their report. During the robbery, the man implied that he had a gun, and the cashier complied, police said. The robber left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene in a newer model white Toyota pickup truck, possibly a Tundra or Tacoma. The sheriff's office identified the suspect as Hollatz. After he was arrested on Friday morning, he was charged with one count of robbery.
