Description
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Meet Patch's Adorable Adoptable Pets of the Week available from the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center.
One-year-old Snowball cannot wait to head to her forever home. She has not lived with cats, dogs or another rabbit before, but did interact with kids. She's leery of new people but will warm up to you once she's comfortable. She likes being held and enjoys affection.
Reserved yet friendly, 7-year-old Kizzy happens to be a Himalayan mix. She would do best in a quiet home where she'll be doted upon after her previous owner was moved into assisted living. She has lived with another cat, but no dogs or kids. She will need to be brushed often to help prevent matting of her coat.
Fun-loving and goofy Tucker arrived as a stray to the shelter. This 1-year-old Siberian husky German shepherd mix doesn't have an inner ear issue nor is he deaf, but he does have a head tilt. He does great with well-mannered dogs who respect his space. As a puppy, he'll need obedience training once adopted. He'll do best in a home without small children as he still jumps when he greets people.
For more information about adopting these adorable critters or any others currently at the center, call 410-313-2780 or visit the center's site on PetFinder or its Facebook page.
