Hiring a candidate who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in keeping their community clean for residents to enjoy! This position is entry level but has high potential for growth and career-building. Job Title: Groundskeeper Schedule: Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm or 7am-4pm w/ 1 hour lunch (subject to slight changes depending on property) Pay Rate: $16-$17 Job Duties: • Groundskeeper is responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings of multi-family residential apartments. • Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis. • Assist in preparation of market ready units, including remove trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready. • Assist Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager and/or perform assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner. • Assist in cleaning of available apartments and or models. • Assist maintenance team with snow removal (If applicable). • Assist in troubleshoot/repair of mechanical, carpentry and electrical problems. • Report any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Maintenance Supervisor. • Uphold all company policies, goals and values. Required: • Professional appearance. • Reliable means of transportation. • Proven ability to be prompt and on time every day. • Outgoing, self-motivated, and highly RELIABLE a must! • Ability to solve problems and work with minimal supervision, when necessary. • Required to pass a comprehensive criminal background check. • It is extremely critical that individuals possess the ability to work their scheduled hours and perform all duties as assigned. ****Extras!!! : Referral program – refer a person and once they work 160 hours with Career Strategies, you earn a bonus of $100!
