PARAMUS, NJ — Paramus Public Schools students will go home early Friday afternoon because of freezing rain and sleet in the forecast. Elementary schools dismiss at 1:10 p.m., middle schools dismiss at 12:12 p.m., and the high school dismisses at 12:05 p.m. After-school and evening activities are canceled, the district announced. Bergen County is under a winter weather advisory until 7 p.m. Friday, the National Weather Service announced yesterday. Total ice accumulation should be under an inch.
