NEWARK, NJ -- Newark police are asking for the public's help finding a missing Carlstadt resident, James Dugan II, 28, who was reported missing Tuesday.
The Newark Department of Public Safety released the following message on Friday:
"Dugan's family reported to Carlstadt police that he planned to meet a woman in Newark on Thursday, Jan. 27. He did not show up for the meeting and his family has not heard from him since then."Police said Dugan is 5 feet 10 inches and 165 pounds. He has brown hair, brown eyes, a scar on his face and head, and tattoos on his back and arms. Dugan is diagnosed with attention deficit disorder and is 90 percent deaf.
Police said anyone with information on the whereabouts of James Dugan II can call the Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Anonymous tips can also be made using the Police Division's website at https://npd.newarkpublicsafety.org/ or through its smartphone app.
