LONG VALLEY, NJ — All Washington Township Schools are closed on Friday due to the icy weather conditions.
A winter weather advisory has been issued for Morris County from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday. Freezing rain is expected with total ice accumulations of a light glaze, according to the National Weather Forecast.
This will create very slippery sidewalks, roads, and especially bridges and overpasses are possible.

Friday: Rain or freezing rain before 3 p.m., then sleet between 3 and 4 p.m., then freezing rain and sleet likely after 4 p.m. High near 43. North wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. Total daytime ice accumulation of less than a 0.1 of an inch possible. Little or no sleet accumulation expected.
Friday Night: A chance of freezing rain and sleet before 7 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 17. Northwest wind around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. Little or no sleet accumulation expected.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 26. Northwest wind 10 to 15 mph.
Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 11. North wind around 5 mph.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 32. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the morning.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 19.
