Here are some tracks from my 17 years as a full-time guitarist in NYC, 4 in California, and 9 in Nashville based on the efficient use of time and allocation of resources. Generally, I am the person you would telephone when there is no time left and you needed me to cover the live gig or session for your missing guitarist. The Village Voice named me the “New York Guitar Guru” and I hear that Rolling Stone Magazine even called me “the best new guitar player in a decade,” but I have never actually read this article, so don’t quote me. You may own my recordings or have seen me on the Time-Life Video Series, VH-1, PBS, HBO, or Entertainment Tonight. You may have seen me live at venues ranging from Madison Square Garden to the America West Arena or Hartford Civic Center. You may have heard me with major rock and blues artists (not to mention a whole slew of famous 60’s acts and some R&B/disco stars of the late 70’s many years after their heyday). When I hit Nashville from New York in 2005, I was a hired guitar gun for Nashville Star (someone was needed that could rock, I was hired again for some work again the next year). After I completed my release of historical instrumental guitar music for Sony and played on the GuitarSlingers Tour (there is a video you can buy at Sam Ash or Guitar Center if there are any left, hopefully you won’t find me on YouTube or Vimeo, it is illegal) I did a lot of work for Disney in the studio and playing live cover gigs for fun in Southern California before I moved back to Nashville.br> No gig to large or too small if it is local and I don't mind limited rehearsal. I prefer to play covers. 1. Obviously, this isn't about work or mony.
