NEWTOWN, PA — Police said delays and lane closures are expected on the Newtown Bypass Friday afternoon after a car accident. According to the Newtown Township Police Department, a car drove off the road and down an embankment. "Please show extra caution and patience when traveling eastbound on the Newtown Bypass, between State Street and Buck Road," police advised. No injuries were reported, according to the news release.
