Here are some of this week's good news headlines: 'A Second Chance': Cobb DUI Court Grad Sworn Into Georgia Bar Jacob Pruitt graduated from DUI Court four years ago after getting two DUI convictions in four months — and he just returned to a recent graduation to be sworn in as a lawyer, by the same judge who helped him through DUI Court. Daddy Daughter Dance Lets Fathers Show Affection For Their Girls The Daddy Daughter Dance will give all dads a place to show their love for their daughters. But for the little girls whose dads can't attend, Sandy Springs police officers and firefighters will be on hand as dance partners. Bartow Education Foundation Awards 196 Teachers Grant Money The Bartow Education Foundation awarded 196 Bartow County teachers grant money to transform their classrooms and provide unique educational opportunities for hundreds of students. Another $1,200 Bonus For Bus Drivers, Monitors In Cobb Schools Eligible bus drivers and monitors in Cobb County Schools got $1,200 bonuses in their December payroll, and will get another in May. Additionally, new bus drivers and monitors hired after the announcement and employed by Feb. 28 will receive $1,000 in their May payroll. Trapped Driver Rescued After Fall Into 40-Foot Ravine Sandy Springs emergency crews used a rope system to rescue a driver whose car tumbled down a 40-foot ravine, trapping her inside.
