JOB SUMMARY The Wash Bay Technician is responsible for the washing and cleaning of equipment inventory by utilizing such materials as water, cleaning agents, brushes, cloths, pressure washers, and hoses. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Washes and cleans all equipment and machines that enter the wash bay ensuring all equipment is ready for the Service Department to maintain, repair and troubleshoot the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine Heavy Equipment Documents the equipment's condition before and after equipment rental Assists team with routine inspections, minor repairs, and general maintenance Works closely with the Service Dispatcher to determine the equipment's order priority Will be responsible for utilizing a pressure washer to clean general rental equipment from large trucks to small tools Must maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace Completes other duties as assigned RequirementsREQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES Ability to work independently and proactively with minimal supervision or instruction Ability to work in extreme weather conditions, including but not limited to hot and cold climates, wet and unstable grounds, highly humid, or highly dry areas Ability to complete washes in a timely manner Must be able to communicate and work well with Manager and team members Excellent attention to detail and accuracy EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE None PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to work in an outside environment with inclement weather conditions (including heat, cold, dampness, humidity, etc.) Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move items or bulky objects up to 30 pounds Ability to perform the repeated motions of reaching, standing, stooping, kneeling, bending and climbing beside, onto and under a variety of heavy equipment Ability to climb and stand on a ladder while using cleaning equipment May be required to drive a company vehicle on occasion. OTHER REQUIREMENTS Must pass a criminal background and submit to preemployment and random drug tests. Must have a valid driver's license. PI164001317
