WWII Historians?

Anyone have any clue about these lighter cases? They are slightly larger than a standard zippo case. They have 1944-1945 and China hand etched on them along with Chinese dragon/bird and symbols, and U.S. lettering assuming from deployed U.S. military. I have 3 of them, I don't see any silver stamping on them so they may be tin. Could not find any similar pictures online.
