Description
Position Summary Individual whose job is to work with installation contractors and oversee wireless construction projects. This includes managing bid walks, material orders, setting up utility accounts, on-site inspections, and project tracking and reporting. Primary responsibility on the job site is to ensure all work is completed in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA requirements. Tasks include managing multiple clients, and multiple projects simultaneously. Company Summary PM&A is a leading provider of turnkey engineering, real estate and construction services in the South. Qualifications • 1-3 years of construction management experience preferred • Complete and return work in a timely manner • Self-motivated, driven, reliable • Willing to put in the extra hours when needed • Willing and able to travel and perform outdoor site walks in all weather conditions • Have own source of reliable transportation • Ability to lift 50 pounds • Business development and marketing as opportunities present themselves • Coaching and mentoring direct and non-direct team members • Detail oriented with excellent written and oral communication skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Outlook • Must be able to work independently • Have an understanding of basic construction practices and terminology • Willing and able to work evenings and weekends if necessary Essential Job Functions • Oversee and manage relationships with contractors • Work with contractors to bid out new projects • Responsible for performing, coordinating, and/or overseeing daily project management activities during procurement, design, construction, and close-out phases • Ability to read and interpret construction plans • Develop and review design and construction plans and specifications including documenting information and writing reports • Perform site inspections and document contractor progress including job completion forecasting • Review construction documents and budgets to determine level of project completion • Communication with clients, vendors and team members in a timely manner • Ensure quick and timely responses to all matters • Prioritize urgent matters from contractors and communication to clients The job description is not an exhaustive statement of all the duties, responsibilities, or qualifications of the job, nor is it intended to limit opportunities.
