Description
SGV Writers Circle is an opportunity for anyone who has always wanted to write or get back into writing.
Each class you will bring in an original work that will be read and critiqued by the instructor and the class in order to get different perspectives and constructive notes. You will also be exposed to classic stories and participate in discussion.
The SGV writers circle is not only a place to discover your voice but to find common ground with other creative people in the community.
This first 8 week session will cover short fiction. Starting with flash fiction and writing exercises and eventually full fledged stories that after revision could be entered in periodicals or contests.
At the end of the 8 weeks. All work will be submitted as a portfolio. And you will get athorough coverage report from your instructor.
Classes are 20 dollars a week. Or 150 if whole session paid before first class.
This class is 18+

Future 8 week sessions will cover screenplays, poetry, and novels.
Our venue Stomping Ground LA requires proof of vaccination to enter.
