Our client is a global leader in Ultrasonic Flow Measurement Technology, serving a wide range of industrial and commercial flow measurement applications. They are seeking an energetic, hardworking, hands-on person to be based in their Brentwood office who is interested in traveling around the Northeast by plane and car. This position will be responsible for the installation and support of the client’s Flow and Analytical products. The position requires physical work such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, carrying tool cases, and sometimes working in demanding industrial environments. Must also be able to write field reports and other documentation. Responsibilities and Duties • Installation of instrumentation in various industrial environments, including, but not limited to: oil refineries, oil fields (including offshore), power plants, building basements, other manufacturing facilities • Interface with customers in the field and build long-term business relationships • Interface with established network of sales representatives on a daily basis • Present product using PowerPoint in front of an audience of up to 30 people during product trainings • Provide customer service, application support and product training to end users and technical sales reps Qualifications and Skills: • Good interpersonal and communication skills are a must. • Experience with Instrument and Controls environment is preferred. However, will consider candidates with a technical degree, A.S. in Engineering, or experience in a technical environment. • Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Strong writing skills for generating field reports • Ability to work in a safe manner with patience and precision in various environments (climbing ladders, working in small, elevated locations, working in close proximity to heat sources up to 800 degrees for extended periods of time, etc.) • Job will require extensive overnight travel throughout the Northeastern US. • Overseas travel will be limited to a maximum of once every 2-3 years. • Total travel can be as much as 70% overall • Must be willing to submit to random drug testing • Must be vaccinated for COVID-19 • Must have a credit card for booking and paying for travel (100% of work-related travel expenses are reimbursed)
