Trivia company seeks bar trivia hosts for weekly trivia shows on evenings, typically Mondays-Thursdays. Current urgent need for hosts available *Thursdays & Wednesday evenings*, most of our shows start sometime after 5pm. Currently seeking hosts all over Long Island, with urgent need for shows in Manhasset & Massapequa areas. Must have: * Strong reading skills. * Ability to enunciate words CLEARLY on a microphone. * Comfortable commanding a crowd on the mic and building rapport with regulars. * Punctual - starting the trivia show on time is important! * Must be able to carry heavy equipment (speaker system, stands, and trivia playing supplies) to and from shows and be responsible for your set of equipment. *Related experience in entertainment & customer facing industries is preferred! Trivia show is hosted typically for 2 hours, up to 2.5 hours for larger crowds. Base pay of $60, with commission increases according to number of trivia players.
