4 Week Class A CDL Training Program
Classes - 8am-4:30pm Monday thru Friday the 1st week and Sunday thru Wednesday or Wednesday thru Saturday 7am to 5:30 pm the remaining 3 weeks. Students need to complete the 160 training hours and pass the CDL Exam in order to graduate. The first week is spent in the classroom to learn the permitting material. Students must obtain a CDL permit to move onto the hands-on portion of the Training. In the classroom, we also cover the log book training, map reading, hours of service and trip planning to make sure you can get from point A to point B efficiently.
Weeks 2, 3 and 4 are the hands-on driving portion of training. The instructors will cover how to do a proper pre-trip inspection, as well as all aspects of backing, coupling and uncoupling the tractor and trailer, and real time driving experience.
If you miss any training time, you will be required to make up those hours.
