DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Operates snowplows, skids with pusher and Slicer truck to remove ice and snow from commercial properties, which require early morning starts, extended hours, and weekend duty including holidays. 2. Responds in a timely manner (within 30 minutes) when called to assist in snow plowing. 3. Ensure that drive lanes under responsibility of this position are adequately and safely plowed when required. 4. Other duties might be required related to snow removal at properties such as hand shoveling and applying ice melt by foot using a spreader. 5. Performs routine basic equipment maintenance/repair tasks such as changing vehicle fluids, fueling, cleaning out vehicle, etc. 6. Pre and Post trip inspections are required in compliance with safety precautions. 7. Maintains all equipment needed for snow removal. 8. Follows all safety rules, policies, and regulations. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. 9. Reports all incidents involving equipment’s functioning to Zone manager. 10. Must possess a valid Colorado Driver License to operate Truck snow plows and Slicer Trucks. WORK ENVIRORNMENT The work environment can be fast paced due to changing weather conditions.
