Although I'd suspect the OP of having a daddy issue or two, it's to be expected that a lot of Baby Boomer ex-musos are retired now and have time to revisit their band days, which many of them had to give up owing to most day jobs having "no-moonlighting" requirements. Can't blame them a bit; a hot band and a full house is the most fun you can have standing up. It's also true, however, that the CL musicians' page is better for amusing reading than finding paying gigs with working bands. Can't blame CL for that, either. Not a whole lot of working bands,or paying gigs. He's right about Bandmix, though. Costs about $11 a month for the upscale page, and the climate is a bit more pro.
