This is a note to the person who stole the wallet from the center console in my VW jetta which was parked in my driveway in the Greenway area on Christmas morning... I see you have been purchasing fuel and mcdonalds... that's all youve spent my money on... and I feel for you. Times have been tough. I've had cards stolen before -- and they buy cheap jewelry to hock... but you're buying food. I respect that. I have to shut the card off, so that cash stream is going away. But I'll give you a gift... I really want my driver's license back (for a number of personal reasons.) It's the one ending in -930. If you'll return it to me this weekend (to the address printed on it) I will place a Target gift card under the windshield wiper. No cameras, no video -- I'm not going to report you. I want to give you the chance to make good choices and profit from them. And I know things are tough right now. But like I said, the card is being shut off, so this is my gift to you. My way of saying "I understand what you're going through." Things are tough -- but they won't always be. Treat people well and things will have a way of getting better for you. Again, the VW is the tan colored one with a snowboard rack. Always backed into the driveway. Thanks for being kind. JB
