We are hiring Shipping Yard Workers 2nd Shift- 3PM-11PM –Pay rate: 17.50/hr 3rd Shift- 11PM- 7AM -Pay rate: 18/hr The candidates will be working outdoors and will be training for the 1st 90 days to become forklift operators. If the meet the qualifications at 90 days to become a forklift operator they will receive a $1.00 pay increase Job Responsibilities: •Operate strapping tools safely and understand banding procedure in our pull-ticket area (breaking from bulk skids). •Band/strap finished product to protect the material and have straight, square, tight skids after banding. •Put all labels on straight, neatly, and in their proper location. •Spray paint color coding by gauge. Plant Environment •While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical power industrial trucks also known as Forklifts and combi lifts. •The noise level in the work environment is usually very load. •Outdoor work environment must be able to work in all weather conditions
