The Art Institute has free admission with requirements, so if you have vaxes and a mask, you can see world masterpieces for free now, instead of $25, and in often uncrowded galleries as well, in the windy city. I did. I need to pick up supplies and visit the greats, and maybe even do some ethnic grocery store shopping. Its a 3 hour drive each way, so strong of mind, will, and car are necessary also for an amazing day trip. I am carless but can help with gas and snacks to make it happen. Any Illinois resident with a good driving record, non-smoker, artist or art loving daytrippers out there? We can meet up for a coffee here in western IL first and plan a joyful journey.
