MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — Mountain Brook plays its first home game of the 2020 season Thursday night, hosting regional foe Shades Valley. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. The Spartans come into the game ranked no. 1 in the Alabama Sports Writers Association Class 6A poll, and carry a 4-0 record, although the Spartans have only played two official games. Coming off wins over Huffman and Woodlawn, Mountain Brook also has forfeit wins over Vestavia Hills and Hunstville.
