We provide our customers with a single-point-of-contact for all of their fire protection needs, including compliance with insurance, local, state, and federal laws and building code requirements. Responsibilities We are seeking a full-time Fire Extinguisher/Suppression Inspector to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering our services to our customers. The candidate will be pivotal in ensuring that our customers fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems are up to code, inspected, charged as needed, assist, and advise customers in various other safety inspections/protocols as needed. General Duties • Perform services & repairs on portable fire extinguishers by inspecting, maintaining, testing/recharging portable units as needed • Perform on-site emergency troubleshooting and repairs • Support and assist senior team members with servicing, troubleshoot and/or installation of fire suppression systems from a variety of manufacturers, including Range Guard, Buckeye, Pyro-Chem, etc. • Consult and advise customers on safety matters. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations to meet the necessary codes and standards • Prepare accurate and timely service tickets and reports • Develop and maintain good relationships with customers with the desire of delivering stellar service • Other general duties and responsibilities as may be assigned Compensation package including: • Competitive wages, depending on experience, as well as monthly commission compensation for your contribution’s • Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance • 401(k) plan with a Company match • Paid Time Off and paid holidays • Flexible and employee friendly policies • Sponsorship & reimbursement for continuing education, licensing, and certifications Ideal Candidates Requirements • 1+ years of experience preferred in portable fire extinguishers, will train if you have the right attitude • Knowledge of fire systems and tools, a plus • Cursory knowledge of NFPA codes, local fire codes and/or manufacture specifications, is a plus • Great attention to details and documentation precision is a must • Solid verbal and written communication skills is a must • Ability to work independently with little supervision • Ability to carry, move tools and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds • Oregon Fire Extinguisher Certification of Fitness, a plus but not required • ICC certification, a plus but not required • Clean driving record
