HOMEWOOD, AL — A local compound pharmacy has manufactured 150 bottles of hand sanitizer and donated it to first responders, including the Mountain Brook Fire Department. A Village Living report said Wellness Pharmacy in Homewood donated 35 of the bottles to the MBFD. Rod Harbin Jr, the president of Wellness Pharmacy, told Village Living he chose to donate to first responders in Homewood because that's where his pharmacy is located, and he chose to also donate to first responders in Mountain Brook because his family lives there.
