Outdoor Lighting Installation Technician Become a member of a team that encourages and appreciates employee contributions! Rapidly growing, customer focused small business, that specializes in the installation, service and repair of low voltage lighting systems is seeking an experienced Technician to join our team. Our Technicians play a key role in the success of our business through their ability to support Company operations by performing all tasks at the customers home/work site as determined by the scope of the workorder. These duties and necessary functions are to be performed safely, professionally, and in a timely manner to meet and/or exceed our customer expectations while providing excellent overall customer service. The ideal candidate will have a full understanding in the use of basic hand tools and equipment and high technical aptitude. Successful Technician must be self-motivated, with effective communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment. Positive attitude, trustworthy, high level personal integrity and honesty. Ability to make a good first impression by being well-groomed, having a pleasant disposition, and the ability to interact with various people in a professional manner, and be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High School degree or equivalent and/or Minimum of 1-year experience in a customer service related industry and Computer skills, with knowledge of the primary Microsoft Office programs. Ability to successfully pass a background check, including a clean driving record, and other pre-employment screening. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Low voltage Lighting Installation Experience C-7 Low Voltage Systems Contractor License Experience with Irrigation Installation Electrical Experience PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Able to lift & carry items up to 75 lbs. Frequently move the whole body to perform tasks such as, lifting, walking, carrying, pushing, pulling the handling of materials. Stand or walk for periods of time. Stoop, kneel, crouch in awkward positions. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Compensation based on experience and skills.
