Body Shop Paint Tech Apprentice-Prepper needed to join our team at Sunset Cadillac of Bradenton's elite Collision Center. This is a great opportunity for a recent collision school graduate or current paint prepper who wants to begin or move up in your career as an automotive painter. Some basic paint/prep skills and experience helpful. Schooling and/or certifications preferred. We will provide on-the-job training and classes to enthusiastic, dependable candidates who show promise and drive. Painter Apprentice - Prepper Duties Assist in the completion of the refinish process on a repaired vehicle, which could include: Masking, sanding, applying undercoats, mid-coats and top coats. Use power tools, paint mixers, paint, cleaning solvents, and waxes as needed. Disassembly and reassembly of body panels, bumpers, trim, etc. All work completed per estimate and according to manufacturer's standards. Painter Apprentice - Prepper Requirements Successful Candidate must be career minded, able to take direction and work independently to produce top quality results, take pride in your work, and have a great attitude. Collision center experience and/or schooling is preferred. Must have good hands-on ability and good visual acuity. Must have a valid driver's license, clean background record, and verifiable work history.
